Privacy policy

WebFounder is operated by Chakshu Food Products (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use webfounder.in, the WebFounder web dashboard and the WebFounder mobile app, what we do with it, and the choices you have. Questions: support@webfounder.in.

Data we collect

  • Account data: your name or display name, email address and sign-in details when you sign in with email, Google or GitHub.
  • Content you create: the prompts and chat messages you send, and the websites WebFounder generates for you, including any text and files you add.
  • Payment records: top-up amount, status, Razorpay order and payment IDs, and the GST invoice details you give us, such as billing state and GSTIN. We do not receive or store your full card, UPI or bank details; Razorpay handles those.
  • Usage and device data: credit usage, and server logs (such as IP address, app or browser version and error details) needed to run and secure the service.

Voice prompts

If you use voice input, your speech is turned into text by your browser’s or device’s speech service, or by an AI speech-to-text provider we use. The text becomes your prompt.

How we use your data

  • To build, preview and host the websites you ask for.
  • To take payments, add credits and issue GST tax invoices.
  • To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
  • To answer your support requests.
  • To meet legal and tax obligations.

We do not sell your personal data.

Who we share data with

We share data only with service providers that help us run WebFounder, and only as needed:

  • Hosting and content-delivery providers that run WebFounder and serve the sites you publish.
  • AI model providers that process your prompts to generate and edit your site.
  • Razorpay, our payment processor.
  • Google or GitHub, if you choose to sign in with them.
  • Error-monitoring providers, which receive diagnostic data when something goes wrong in the app.

We may also disclose data where the law requires it.

Published sites are public

A site you publish is visible to anyone on the internet at the address you choose. Do not put personal data in a site unless you want it to be public.

How long we keep data

We keep account and content data while your account is active. After you delete your account we remove or anonymise it within 30 days, except records we must keep by law, such as GST tax invoices and payment records, which we keep for the period Indian law requires. See how to delete your account.

Your rights

Under applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask to access or correct your personal data, ask us to delete it, and withdraw consent. Email support@webfounder.in from the address on your account. We reply within 2 business days. This is also our grievance contact.

Security

We use HTTPS to protect data in transit and restrict access to systems that hold personal data. No online service is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

WebFounder is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the date above. If a change is significant, we will also tell you in the dashboard or by email.
